This Statuette of a Wild Sheep or a Ram was carved from a thin stone pebble, which is still partially translucent, despite the current dark and worn appearance of the surface.
This statuette represents a very popular mythological hybrid figure that was largely widespread in Near Eastern iconography from the Sumerian period.
Carved from two fragments of dark green stone mottled with light patches (steatite probably), these two objects represent animals with highly stylized and abstract shapes.
The scarab is placed on a flat, elliptical base; the bottom has no inscription. Characterized by stylized, though complete and accurate shapes, this beetle shows elegant features that indicate the details of the anatomy.
Carved from a small yellowish beige pebble irregularly speckled with red, this seal is a small cylinder with a smooth and well-polished surface.
This statuette represents an adult, though beardless man with youthful features.
A conical bowl, with a perfectly flat circular bottom that provides a good balance to the vessel.
Perfectly hemispherical and without lip, this bowl is supported by a small circular base in very low relief that does not provide a good balance.
Carved from a warm-colored, yellowish marble, this object has a well-proportioned and elegant shape that pleases the viewer with its geometric and simple outline.
