This Statuette of a Wild Sheep or a Ram was carved from a thin stone pebble, which is still partially translucent, despite the current dark and worn appearance of the surface.
The axe was carved from a long, slender flake of stone, of a uniform, almost black colour. Its shape resembles that of a teardrop, with one end being thinner and almost pointed, whilst the other (which forms the cutting edge) has a distinctly arched profile, but appears never to have been sharpened.
This small jar, with a decorative ridge in relief that extends the neck and modifies its proportions, is more elaborate in shape than most other contemporary stone vessels. The perfectly globular body stands on its own despite the absence of base. The lip is flat.
